The much anticipated Apple event happened yesterday with the release of not one, but two new iPhones. The new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will have curved edges and larger screens, 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. With bigger phones comes bigger batteries, and the new phones can allow for up to 14 hours of video watching.
Both phones will feature Apple's new iOS 8 software, which features a new HealthKit application that will monitor your heart rate, sleep, weight and blood pressure as well as a lot of other health information. iOS 8 will be available to users with iPhones 4S and newer.
The other exciting release from the event was the new Apple Watch. The Apple Watch will pair with the new iPhones to display notifications. It features a very cool magnetic charger, health and fitness apps and a crown that controls zoom and scrolling with a twist.
Apple will initially release 3 versions of the Apple Watch. There will be the standard version, a sport version, and an 18 carat gold edition called the "Apple Watch Edition." The Apple Watch will be available in 40mm and 42mm sizes.
